Coconut oil for a healthy scalp and hair
Coconut oil - the miracle oil! Aside from having incredible benefits for skin, cooking and health, coconut oil is also an amazing natural hair product that will help reduce dandruff and nourish dry and tired hair. It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that ensure a healthy scalp all the while moisturising, smoothing and giving stunning shine to your hair.
Fine and oily hair gals? Avoid or at least use sparingly. Oil can weigh your hair down and make it look greasy and limp.
Top tip for coarse and dry hair – massage into your hair and scalp before bed and cover with a shower cap and rinse off in the morning with luke warm water followed by your normal cleansing regime. So soft…..

Avocado for fragile and damaged hair
Have you ever wondered why avocado is so good for your hair? Avocado oil has the ability to penetrate deep within the hair fibre and act as an excellent moisturizer – making it easier to detangle knots and doesn’t leave a yucky greasy feeling. You can either use it alone or in combination with other oils. Avocado oil can also help in preventing hair loss and other dandruff related problems, and it’s oh so yummy!
Honey – the perfect natural ingredient for boosting your hair growth
Honey is one of the oldest sweeteners on earth, but did you know that it’s amazing for your hair and scalp? Honey is an emollient, which means it locks moisture in, strengthening and reducing breakage. It has rich antioxidant properties which prevent damage, keeping your scalp and hair healthy and bolsters the follicle helping to prevent hair loss. Using honey as a hair care ingredient not only boosts hair growth, but stimulates hair re-growth from dormant follicles (which cause thinning hair!). Great news ladies, who knew huh?
Aloe Vera for hair - health and vitality
Aloe Vera is an incredibly versatile plant rich in vitamin c and e and contains beta carotene which gives it its nourishing and anti-ageing qualities. Its enzymes help to repair dead skin cells. It has a pH of 4.5 which is practically identical to our own hair and skin that helps to close the cuticle and provide brilliant shine. It’s been used to treat burns and stings forever and in more recent years people have been looking to it to remedy problems like dandruff hair loss that chemical based treatments just can’t handle – and all this without those nasty chemicals!
